Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the Role

Right Care Services Inc. is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide hands-on personal care in the home under the direction of a nurse or supervisor. CNAs help patients stay clean, safe, and comfortable at home across Lawrence and the Merrimack Valley. English- and Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.

Duties

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care with attention to privacy and dignity.
• Help with mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers per the care plan.
• Check vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.) when the care plan directs.
• Observe and report changes in condition, mood, or routine to the nurse or supervisor.
• Follow the assigned care plan; do not perform clinical tasks reserved for licensed nurses.
• Document care provided according to agency policy.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional boundaries with patients and families.
• Participate in required training and competency checks.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts CNA certification (or eligibility status confirmed by HR).
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Current CPR (confirm requirement with HR).
• Reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory background checks as required by law and agency policy.
• Preferred: experience in home care, skilled nursing facility, or hospital.

Schedule & Location

• In-home visits in the agency’s service area based in Lawrence, MA.
• Part-time and full-time options may be available.
