About the Role

Right Care Services Inc., a Medicare-certified home health agency in Lawrence, MA, seeks licensed nurses (RN and/or LPN) to deliver skilled nursing in the home. Nurses work with physicians, therapists, and aides so patients can recover and manage illness safely at home. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued.

Duties

Duties (RN)

• Perform comprehensive assessments and start-of-care / follow-up visits per Medicare home health requirements and agency policy.
• Develop, implement, and update the nursing plan of care with the physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide skilled interventions ordered by the physician (examples may include wound care, medication teaching, disease management, post-surgical aftercare — only as ordered and within scope).
• Supervise and coordinate with Home Health Aides and LPNs as assigned.
• Document accurately and timely in the clinical record.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and referral sources about patient status.
• Participate in case conferences, quality, and infection-control activities.

Duties (LPN)

• Provide skilled nursing visits under RN supervision and within LPN scope of practice in Massachusetts.
• Implement the plan of care; reinforce teaching; perform ordered treatments as allowed.
• Report changes promptly to the supervising RN / clinical manager.
• Document visits per agency policy.
• Support coordination with aides and therapy (PT/OT) as directed.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Massachusetts RN or LPN license (as applicable).
• Prefer 1+ year nursing experience; home health or geriatrics experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle for home visits.
• Strong communication skills; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Working knowledge of Medicare home health rules preferred for RN roles.
• Ability to complete required background checks.

Schedule & Location

• Home visits in Lawrence and the Merrimack Valley communities we serve.
• Typical coordination with the Lawrence office, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm; visit times vary.
